There will be a temporary Road Closure of Edge Road from its junction with Blakewell Mead to outside the property known as Edgecombe for a distance of approximately 21 metres. The road is expected to be closed from 25th November until 29th November 2019.

The Clypping ceremony will once again be at the heart of the annual Feast celebrations on Sunday 22nd September. 'Clyppan' is an old Anglo-Saxon word meaning to embrace or to clasp (nothing to do with trimming the yew trees then!). The Parish Council are pleased to be working with the Police to enforce the 20mph zone within Painswick.
They recently ticketed a driver for doing 35mph in the 20mph zone!
The Police will be carrying out more speed checks over the next few months.
