Love Painswick - Painswick Centre 3rd July

Love Painswick will be taking place at The Painswick Centre on Saturday 3rd July 10 - 5! It's a community fair all about celebrating our local businesses: a collaborative effort to showcase and support you lovely lot and to help sow the seeds of economic regeneration. There is a huge amount of talent & innovation in these valleys but those of us living here don't always know about the amazing things happening right on our doorstep. Love Painswick will give those businesses a chance to show off what they do and engage their local audience, while it will give locals and visitors an opportunity to discover just how much the valleys have to offer.There will be a real variety of stalls for people to browse from vintage wares, ethical swimwear, flowers & posies and handmade furniture. In addition we will have magic shows for adults & kids throughout the day, our local alpaca herd, a jewellery workshop and a chance to have a go at metal forming, and open art studios, not to mention hot drinks and pizza.Besides all this, of course the wonderful Handmade in Painswick pop-up shop will be open throughout, where people can browse beautful items made by our very own artists and artisans. The shop is celebrating their press launch on the 3rd and Mary Portas, who is such a big advocate of local independent retail and community collaboration, will be coming along to browse, meet some of the makers, and to give a press interview.Lots of you are already involved, but if you're not and you'd like to be please email marketing@painswickcentre.com.
