Temp Road Closure - Golf Course Road 9th Feb

Gloucestershire County Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 41128 Golf Course Road from its junction with the B4073 heading in a North Easterly direction for a distance of approximately 230 metres The reason for the closure is to install a new BT telegraph pole. A46 to be closed - 4th January - 31st March 2021

Coopers Hill A46 to be closed from 4th Jan - 31st March.

The A46 connects Stroud to Gloucester and the Brockworth Bypass. Approximately 1km south of Brockworth a small section of the A46 on Coopers Hill, known as the 'southern corner', is suffering from subsidence caused by landslips.

Temporary Road Closure - Edge Road

There will be a temporary Road Closure of Edge Road from its junction with Blakewell Mead to outside the property known as Edgecombe for a distance of approximately 21 metres. The road is expected to be closed from 25th November until 29th November 2019.

Speed Enforcement

Speed Enforcement

The Parish Council are pleased to be working with the Police to enforce the 20mph zone within Painswick.

They recently ticketed a driver for doing 35mph in the 20mph zone!

The Police will be carrying out more speed checks over the next few months.
